FAQ
Does this format DOCX files?
No—this tool formats plain text. If you need a Word file export, use the Text Converter to Word tool linked above.
Will it remove weird spacing from PDF copy/paste?
Yes. Collapsing repeated spaces and joining lines into paragraphs usually fixes common PDF copy issues.
How does “Join lines into paragraphs” work?
It merges single newlines into spaces within a paragraph while keeping blank lines as paragraph breaks (and keeping list lines separate).
Can it keep my indentation?
Enable “Preserve leading indentation” to avoid collapsing spaces at the start of lines.
What does “Normalize bullets” change?
It converts lines starting with -, *, or • into a consistent “• ” bullet format.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. Formatting runs locally in your browser; the script does not send network requests.
Why would I use wrap width?
Wrapping is useful for emails, notes, or fixed-width text; for Word documents you can usually leave wrap off.
