Find the right tool
Search for the task and file type together, such as “merge PDF” or “PNG to WebP”. Use Topics when you know the area but not the tool name. Inside a topic you can narrow the list further. The processing filter distinguishes supported browser and server tasks.
Before you run a tool
Read supported formats and size limits. A file extension alone does not guarantee that the contents are compatible. Try the included example where available, then replace it with your own input. Check units, decimal values and selected options before processing.
Text imports offer an encoding choice. Auto detects UTF-8 and UTF-16 byte-order marks; use the explicit Windows-1252 option for an older text export in that encoding. Incorrect encoding can change characters, so inspect a sample before using the result.
Download and inspect the result
Copy text or use Download to save a generated file. Some file types have a preview, but a browser may not play every supported output codec. Download a file and inspect it in a compatible application if its preview is unavailable.
Server results are temporary. Save them before the displayed expiry. If a download expires, run the operation again. Do not share a temporary link unless you intend the recipient to access its contents.
If processing fails
Check whether the same problem happens with a smaller, simpler, non-sensitive input. Verify that the file is not damaged, encrypted in an unsupported way or above the tool’s limits. Network and server errors can require a later retry.
For “dynamically imported module” or a missing processing service, reload the page and run Tool diagnostics. Content blockers and network policies can interfere with resources. If a platform download fails, the source may be unsupported, restricted, unavailable or changed; do not try to bypass access controls.
Preferences and saved work
Favourites, recent tools, theme and saved setups are stored in the current browser. They do not automatically follow you to another device. Export a setup when the tool offers that option and you want a portable copy; do not treat browser storage as a permanent backup.
Undo clear can restore the last cleared input while that page remains open. It does not recover work after closing the page. Clearing local FeuTex preferences from the Privacy page also removes saved setups on that browser.
Keyboard and small-screen use
Use Tab to move between controls and Enter or Space to activate the focused control. Ctrl/Cmd+K opens tool search where the browser supports its dialog. In supported workspaces, Ctrl/Cmd+Enter runs the tool. Phones have quick run, result and download actions.
If copying is blocked, the shared workspace selects the output so you can use your browser’s Copy command. See Accessibility for the interface features and how to report a barrier.
Take your saved tools with you
Open All tools, then expand Your toolkit. Export saved tools downloads a JSON list of your favorite tool IDs. Import it in another browser to merge those tools into its Favorites. This file contains no tool inputs, uploaded files or generated results.
