FAQ
Does this upload my text anywhere?
No. Formatting runs in your browser and this tool does not send your text to a server.
What does “Join wrapped lines” do?
It removes single line breaks (common when copying from PDFs) while keeping paragraph breaks (blank lines) intact.
Will it keep my paragraphs for Word?
Yes. Paragraphs are preserved via blank lines; you can also collapse multiple blank lines into one.
Can it fix weird spacing after pasting into Word?
Yes. Enable space normalization and punctuation spacing to remove extra gaps and stray spaces before punctuation.
Does it convert curly quotes to straight quotes?
Yes. Turn on “Straighten curly quotes” to replace typographic quotes with plain ASCII quotes.
Can I standardize bullet points?
Yes. Choose a bullet style to convert leading bullets (like “•”) into “- ”, “* ”, or “• ” consistently.
Is the output safe to paste into Microsoft Word?
Yes. The output is plain text designed to paste cleanly into Word without odd line breaks or spacing artifacts.
