FAQ
Does this word formatter work with text pasted from Microsoft Word?
Yes. Enable “Normalize Word punctuation” to convert smart quotes, dashes, and non‑breaking spaces into plain text.
What is Word list mode?
It extracts words from your text (ignoring punctuation) so you can dedupe, sort, and output as commas, lines, spaces, or bullets.
Will it remove duplicate words?
Yes. Turn on “Unique words” to remove duplicates in a case-insensitive way (Apple and apple count as the same).
Can I convert to Title Case or Sentence case?
Yes—use the Case selector. Sentence case capitalizes the start of sentences after . ! ? (and after new lines).
How do I make a comma-separated list?
Enable Word list mode, then choose “Comma + space” (or “Comma”) under List output.
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The formatter runs locally in your browser and does not send your content over the network.
Why did my formatting change less than expected?
Some options are intentionally gentle by default. Turn on “Remove empty lines” or Word list mode for more aggressive formatting.
