FAQ

What can I paste into this percentage checker?

Use formats like 94/112, 25 of 40, 90, 112, 83.5%, or completed=94 total=112.

Does this tool assume a specific Hollow Knight total like 112?

No—enter your own total (100, 112, or anything else) and it calculates from that.

Why does my result go over 100%?

If your completed value is greater than total, the percentage can exceed 100% and the tool will show a note.

Can it tell me how many more I need to reach a target percent?

Yes—set Target % and it will show required completed (rounded up) and how many more you need.

What does Goal total do?

It recalculates your percent against a different total (useful if you track progress against another milestone).

How are decimals handled?

Pick the number of decimals you want; the tool rounds the displayed percentage to that precision.

Is any data sent to a server?

No—everything runs locally in your browser and the tool does not make network requests.
