FAQ
Is this image resizer really online if it doesn’t upload?
Yes—it's a browser-based tool that runs locally. Your image stays on your device.
What’s the difference between Contain, Cover, and Stretch?
Contain fits the whole image inside the target box (may add padding). Cover fills the box and crops; Stretch ignores aspect ratio.
How do I resize by percent?
Choose Resize by → Percent, enter a percentage (like 50 or 200), then run the tool.
Why does my transparent PNG turn white when converting to JPG?
JPG doesn’t support transparency, so a background color is used. Change the background picker to control the fill color.
Which format should I pick: PNG, JPG, or WebP?
PNG is best for sharp graphics/transparency, JPG for photos, and WebP often gives the smallest files for the same visual quality.
Can I prevent upscaling?
Enable No upscale to stop the tool from increasing dimensions beyond the original.
Does this handle EXIF orientation from phone photos?
Some browsers apply orientation automatically, but not all. If a photo looks rotated, try converting once or rotate it in your gallery first.
