FAQ
Is this PNG to JPG converter really free?
Yes. It runs client-side in your browser and doesn’t require signup or uploads.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion happens locally in your browser; the script does not make network requests.
What happens to transparent areas when converting PNG to JPG?
JPG doesn’t support transparency, so transparent pixels are filled with the background color you choose (white by default).
Can I convert multiple PNG files at once?
Yes. Select multiple PNGs and the tool will generate a download link for each converted JPG.
Will the JPG keep the same quality as the PNG?
PNG is lossless and JPG is lossy, so some quality loss is expected; use a higher quality setting to reduce artifacts.
Does this preserve EXIF/metadata?
No. Canvas-based conversion typically strips metadata; the output is a fresh JPG render.
Why is my JPG bigger than my PNG?
Some PNGs (simple graphics) compress extremely well; try lowering JPEG quality or resizing to reduce the JPG size.
