Calculator Tool
Fast calculator tool to evaluate math expressions with parentheses, %, powers, and common functions (sqrt, abs, sin/cos/tan, log/ln, min/max). Copy results and spot input errors instantly.
sqrt(x), abs(x), pow(a,b), min(a,b,...), max(a,b,...), sin(x), cos(x), tan(x), log(x) (base10), ln(x). Trig uses radians.ans for the last result (example: ans/3).How to use
Use it like a text-based calculator.
- Enter your expression (examples:
2+3*4,(2+3)*4,10%*250,sqrt(9)+pow(2,3)). - Click Calculate (or press Enter).
- Copy the result, or use
ansto continue (e.g.,ans/3).
FAQ
What expressions does this calculator support?
It supports +, -, *, /, ^, parentheses, postfix % (percent), constants pi/e, and common functions like sqrt() and pow().
How does percent (%) work in expressions?
x% means x/100. Example: 10%*250 = 25.
Are sin/cos/tan in degrees or radians?
Radians. For degrees, convert first (e.g., sin(30*pi/180)).
Can I reuse the previous result?
Yes—use ans to reference the last calculated value (for example, ans/3).
Why am I getting an “Invalid expression” error?
Usually it’s missing parentheses, an extra operator, or an unknown name. Try simplifying the expression and re-check commas inside functions.
Does it use eval or run code?
No. It parses and evaluates expressions with a small built-in math parser, so it won’t execute arbitrary JavaScript.
What functions are available?
sqrt, abs, pow, min, max, round, floor, ceil, sin, cos, tan, log (base 10), ln.
