Prepare a PDF booklet

  1. Step 1

    Choose a PDF with unrotated pages and select A4 or Letter paper. The tool fits two source pages on each output side and inserts blank slots as needed.

Before you finish

Print landscape at actual size, duplex with short-edge flipping. Test one sheet before printing the full booklet. Printer behavior varies; interactive forms and annotations are not retained.

Processing runs in your browser. Save outputs before leaving. Saved setups are optional and stored on this device; avoid saving sensitive data on shared computers.

What you need

A PDF in normal reading order, a duplex-capable printer and one test sheet. Choose paper that matches the tool settings.

Check the result

Fold the test sheet and check that the cover is outside and the inside pages read in sequence. Check margins before printing the remaining copies.

If the result looks wrong

If the reverse side is upside down, check the printer duplex binding setting. Use actual size and avoid applying booklet imposition a second time in the printer dialog.
