How to use this tool
Choose one GIF file. Set maximum dimensions and, for JPEG/WebP/AVIF, quality. Select a flattening color for opaque output, convert, then inspect and download.
Accuracy and scope
JPEG uses lossy compression and has no alpha channel. Transparent pixels are flattened against your chosen background. Useful for photographs and broadly compatible uploads. Maximum input 50 MiB and 16 megapixels. Resize preserves aspect ratio and never enlarges. Animation/multipage input is rejected. Orientation is applied; metadata is not copied. High bit depth and source color profiles are not preserved. The output is generated by the server and expires after 15 minutes.
