Accuracy and scope

Maximum 25 MB total input and 100 files, processed in browser memory. SHA-256, SHA-384 and SHA-512 only. Expected-hash comparison accepts one file. A matching checksum does not establish authenticity unless the expected value comes from a trusted source.

Is my data uploaded?

This tool runs locally in your browser. Input and output are not sent to a processing server. Copy or download your result before leaving the page.

Settings and output choices

Expected-hash comparison requires exactly one file. JSON and CSV report whether it matches; manifests contain hashes and file names. Choose a trusted expected hash independently. Matching hashes do not establish that a file is safe. Manifests require unique file names without newlines or backslashes.
