FAQ
Does the tool upload my CSV anywhere?
No. All processing happens in your browser; nothing is sent to any server.
How do I specify a tab delimiter?
Type \t or the word “tab” in the delimiter box.
Can it handle very large files?
It works in-memory, so performance depends on your RAM. Try splitting files over 10 MB for best speed.
What about quoted fields with commas?
This lightweight parser treats commas literally. Use it for simple CSV; for complex quoting use a dedicated CLI like csvkit.
Will it run on Windows or macOS?
Yes—it’s browser-based. We just optimized the defaults for Linux users.
How do I reset everything?
Click the Reset button or press Ctrl+R to clear input, output and errors.
