Choose the right tool
JPG is a lossy image format commonly suited to photographs. Quality controls trade file size against visible detail. Conversion from a document renders pages, while conversion from another image format works on the decoded pixels.
- PDF to JPG lets you select pages and output width; multiple pages download as a ZIP.
- Transparent source pixels are flattened onto white in the current converters.
- Choose JPG to GIF for animation, or JPG to PNG for a lossless output encoding of the currently decoded pixels.
